Encounters is a series of silkscreens on pigment photographic prints made in collaboration with Santeri Kuisma. The pictures chase an aesthetic where both time and space disappear, with an evident lack of humanity. Landscape becomes abstraction, a place that doesn’t exist.
The works were exhibited in Galleria Kaakaopapu in Lappeenranta 27.7.-11.8.2019.
A selection from the series was also exhibited as a part of Kaunon Tekijät -exhibition in Galleria Uusi Kipinä (Lahti) in 13.12.2019-12.1.2020.
